Hotel developer and manager Hotel Equities and independent coeducational college Berry College have opened the Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott in Rome, Georgia.
It is located next to the Rome Tennis Center at Berry College, which owns and developed the new hotel.

Besides offering rooms for visitors, students at Berry will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in hospitality management at the hotel.
The hotel will help secure revenue that is lost to nearby cities due to the shortage of appropriate accommodations in the area.
Berry will use the hotel’s revenues to fund student scholarships at the college.

Hotel Equities, which is based in Atlanta, has collaborated with architects, design and contractors to provide development services throughout the hotel’s construction.
The company is also responsible for the management of the hotel.
Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott in Rome offers free breakfast and high-speed Wi-Fi, as well as features a fitness centre, seasonal pool, and a lobby bar and restaurant.
