Global affordable luxury hotel chain citizenM has adopted networking solutions company Juniper Networks’ artificial intelligence (AI) driven enterprise and connected security solutions.
The implementation of AI-driven wireless access, wired access and firewalls is intended to streamline citizenM’s IT operations and provide an enhanced experience to hotel guests.

Juniper has delivered a secure client-to-cloud experience as part of the contract to transform how guests sleep, work and relax during their stay at the hotel.
The technology company’s Mist AI solution and automated workflows operated via the cloud have reduced the time and effort required to set up and manage secure IT networks across multiple properties.
The solution provides real-time, secure connectivity and personalised experiences for guests.

citizenM has a global network of 31 hotels and aims to increase its footprint to 40 hotels in premier metropolitan locations and airports in Europe, the US, and Asia by next year.
The company adopted Juniper’s network solutions to meet the needs of the increasing number of guests and scale its network in line with its digital transformation plans.
The Juniper firewalls safeguard citizenM’s hotels and its Amsterdam headquarters from cyber-attacks.
Guests can access their rooms using a digital key. They can use an in-room Wi-Fi-enabled tablet or citizenM’s mobile app to control the room temperature and lighting.
