The Corendon Amsterdam Schiphol Airport Hotel, part of Marriott’s Tribute Portfolio brand, has completed a comprehensive “multi-million-dollar” renovation.
The project has revamped the hotel’s 207 suites and public areas, aligning with the Tribute Portfolio’s ethos of independent hotels.
Upon entering the hotel, guests are now welcomed into ‘Corendon Central’, a grand atrium designed to reflect Dutch culture and encourage social interaction.
The space is adorned with artwork and patterns that pay homage to The Netherlands’ rich maritime history.
In addition, the hotel’s renovation is in line with sustainability practices, with 60% of the existing furniture being repurposed in the redesign.
The updated suites now feature modern amenities and refreshed decor to ensure a comfortable stay for guests.
The renovation extends to the hotel’s event spaces, which span nearly 45,000ft² and can accommodate up to 3,000 attendees.
The meeting rooms, named after Dutch artists, offer stunning views and access to an outdoor patio, including a venue beneath a decommissioned Boeing 747.
Corendon Amsterdam Schiphol Airport Hotel also has multiple dining options, which have received an upgrade.
For relaxation and wellness, guests can visit Village Fitness and Village Spa & Wellness, which provide a range of services and treatments.
The hotel also has an on-site Corendon Cinema, which allows guests to enjoy a relaxing activity during their stay or layover.
