Netherlands-based hotel management company Cycas Hospitality has been appointed to manage the Grandhotel Bad Pyrmont spa hotel in Germany.
With the new addition, the company now runs four regional properties.
Located near Hanover, the 5-star hotel consists of two adjacent buildings. It provides 151 guest rooms, including nine suites, that spread across the recently renovated, 44-room Fürstenhof Hotel and the Steigenberger Hotel and Spa.
Later this year, the hotel is set to begin a significant €20m redevelopment programme across rooms, public areas and spa facilities.
Cycas Hospitality CEO Matt Luscombe said: “Expanding our portfolio of luxury hotels with the addition of this exciting resort hotel represents an important step in our journey at Cycas Hospitality.
“Our appointment to run this 5-star property with the opportunities to maximise spa and M&E services presents an exceptional inclusion to our portfolio and brings us even closer to 50 hotels under management across Europe.”
The hotel’s spa facilities feature 1,500m² of dedicated wellness space including Serail Spa, bathing areas, Hammam, sea salt grotto and spring water sampling in the neighbouring Hylligen Born.
Additionally, visitors can enjoy a private patio, park gardens and several outdoor activities in the adjacent Weserbergland region and Teutoburg Forest.
The hotel has five conference rooms spread across 489m² for business travellers and also features a classic ballroom, on-site parking and a terrace for private parties and corporate team-building activities.
Grandhotel Bad Pyrmont managing director Oliver Massabni said: “We are very pleased to have Cycas Hospitality on board, bringing hotel expertise to our exciting upgrade programme of the iconic Steigenberger and Fürstenhof Hotels.
“I’m truly delighted to bring these treasured hotels which play such a valuable part in the local community to life in the near future, in partnership with hospitality experts, Cycas.”
