Tailored for business travellers, social events, and leisure guests, the hotel will operate under the Cygnett Inn brand.
The Cygnett Inn Motihari will feature 70 guest rooms and offer a variety of amenities, including an all-day dining restaurant, spa, gymnasium, and swimming pool. The design focuses on accommodating meetings and social events.
A notable aspect of the project is its facilities for events and gatherings. The hotel will offer three venues, including a 5,500ft² banquet hall connected to a 17,000ft² outdoor lawn.
Additionally, two meeting spaces of nearly 1,600ft² and 575ft² are planned to support conferences and private functions.
Cygnett Hotels & Resorts founder and managing director Sarbendra Sarkar said: “Hospitality demand in India is increasingly expanding beyond traditional metro markets. We are witnessing growing demand for quality branded accommodation and event infrastructure across emerging cities, driven by regional economic activity, improving connectivity, and evolving travel patterns.
“Motihari represents an important market with strong long-term potential, and this signing aligns with our strategy of strengthening our presence across high-growth destinations.”
The Cygnett Inn Motihari is anticipated to become operational by the end of 2026.
In June 2025, Cygnett Hotels & Resorts announced the expansion of its presence in Uttar Pradesh, India, with the signing of Cozzet Kanpur and Cygnett Inn Vrindavan.
