DoubleTree by Hilton Gurgaon Delhi NCR in India has entered a partnership with electric vehicle (EV) charging company STATIQ for the addition of EV charging stations to enhance the guest experience, reported BWHotelier.com.

The hotel’s general manager Rajat Tuli and STATIQ CEO and founder Akshit Bansal inaugurated this initiative, which is a part of Hilton’s ‘Travel with Purpose’ programme.

Travel with Purpose is the hotel chain’s environmental, social and governance strategy aiming to generate positive environmental and social impact across its supply chain, operations, and communities.

The charging facility will have a 60kW DC dual gun charger, which can charge an electric car by up to 80% in 40 minutes, and a 22kW AdWall AC charger, offering both fast and slow charging services.

It will accommodate various four-wheelers and two-wheelers with different EV technologies.

This initiative aims to support sustainable transportation as well as encourage guests to adopt eco-friendly practices during their stay.
