Qatar-based Estithmar Holding has announced that its subsidiary, Elegancia Arabia, has been awarded the Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing (MEP) works contract for three hotels located on Saudi Arabia’s Shura Island, DohaNews has reported.
These contracts underline Elegancia Arabia’s commitment to offering quality engineering and construction services to the country’s booming tourism sector.
Under the contract, Elegancia will offer a range of services for the necessary mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems to build the hotels, including design, supply, installation and testing.
Elegancia Arabia was chosen for the MEP solutions contract as they have experience in providing service for luxury accommodation projects on Shura Island.
Situated off the coast of Saudi Arabia, Shura Island is emerging as a popular tourist destination because of its pristine beaches, coral reefs and cultural heritage.
The three hotels are being developed as part of Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 initiative which is aimed at diversifying the country’s economy from the oil sector to include non-oil sectors such as tourism, entertainment and culture.
