Emaar Properties’ hospitality and leisure business Emaar Hospitality Group has signed an agreement with sales representation group Claviger for promoting the sales of hotel rooms across the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) region.

As part of the sales representation agreement, hotels under the Address Hotels + Resorts and the upscale lifestyle Vida Hotels and Resorts, as well as Armani Hotel Dubai brands, will be promoted.

Emaar Hospitality Group chief operating officer Chris Newman said: “Our hotels, all located in central locations in Dubai in close proximity to the most popular tourist attractions, are already popular among guests from across the GCC region.

“Through our new sales representation agreement, we are further highlighting the value-add that our hotels offer to newer audiences through Claviger’s dedicated network.”

Leveraging its in-market presence across the GCC region, Claviger will promote the hotels with a particular focus on families and corporate guests.

Additionally, the company will highlight the features and facilities offered by Emaar Hospitality Group’s hotels in Dubai to high net worth individuals and corporate houses.

Claviger’s research revealed that there is an opportunity for driving sales across all Emaar Hospitality Group hotels in Dubai with more than 33% of tourists in the region travelling for leisure, 24% for business and over 36% visiting friends and families.

Address Hotels + Resorts in Dubai has a portfolio of hotels that includes Address Downtown, Address Boulevard, Address Dubai Mall and Palace Downtown as well as Address Dubai Marina and Address Montgomerie.

Furthermore, Claviger will promote the soon-to-open Address Fountain Views and Address Sky View.

Vida Hotels and Resorts has Vida Downtown and Manzil Downtown, two operational hotels.
