American Hotel Income Properties REIT has completed renovation work at its Embassy Suites DFW South, near the Dallas/Fort Worth airport in Irving, Texas.
This renovation work involved an investment of around approximately $5.2m.
Among the major aspects of this renovation project included a completely redeveloped atrium with a new bar, breakfast restaurant and communal seating areas. The digital docking tables will allow business travellers to work with colleagues in the lounge area.
New water feature, greenery and steel sculptural elements in the lobby offer guests with a calm environment.
All of the elevators have been replaced and fitted with new technology while the exterior of the building was repainted.
Several Embassy Suites by Hilton hotels are undergoing renovation to cater to the changing requirements of business and leisure travelers.

American Hotel Income Properties REIT CEO Rob O’Neill said: “This marks the completion of the first of three Embassy Suites hotels we are renovating this year, to showcase the new Embassy Suites design and enhanced guest experience – with improved food and beverage offerings, increased communal seating areas and digital work stations.
“Our Embassy Suites hotels are the largest properties we own, and make a significant contribution to our performance. We’re excited to see the future benefits of these investments, as our guests experience the difference of these hotel improvements.”
This month, Embassy Suites Cincinnati in Covington, Kentucky, is also slated to complete renovations.
Embassy Suites Columbus in Dublin, Ohio commenced renovations in July and is expected to be completed during the fourth quarter.
