Occupying 700 acres within the national park, the resort has been developed to provide enhanced access to natural surroundings and a greater sense of seclusion.

The redeveloped Main Lodge’s lobby provides panoramic views of Lac Beauvert and Whistlers Mountain from the lakeside patio.

Guests are able to use Embark Outpost + Provisions, a redesigned general store and adventure hub that serves as the starting point for guided excursions.

The property plans to open the Camp JPL Adventure Club later this year, offering supervised programming for children aged 5-12 years with activities such as nature walks and wilderness skills.

The resort’s dining venues have also been overhauled. Lume replaces the former Emerald Lounge. Elderwood, in the former Great Hall, presents seasonal, shareable dishes, while The Barbicon provides a contemporary approach to the classic steakhouse.

Wellness activities have been expanded, including new outdoor offerings such as the Glacial Plunge & Sauna Journey.

The resort continues to offer access to hiking, canoeing, biking, and other outdoor experiences and has added pickleball courts and a playground to its amenities.

Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge general manager Garrett Turta said: “At Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge, luxury has always been less about excess and more about what people rediscover while they’re here: time together, space to breathe, connection to nature, and a slower rhythm of life.

“This new chapter builds on that feeling, creating a resort experience that feels both deeply connected to memory and entirely new to discover.”

Resort owner Oxford Properties has invested more than $2bn in Canada since 2025.

The redesign aims to continue the property’s legacy as a destination for both community members and visitors.
