Hard Rock Hotels (HRH) has opened its first 446-room property in Midtown Manhattan, New York, marking its debut in the US city.

Situated between the Theatre District and Radio City Music Hall, the new flagship hotel is steps away from Times Square, Broadway, Rockefeller Center, Bryant Park and Fifth Avenue shopping.

Hard Rock Hotel New York features a variety of rooms and suites including king rooms, platinum suites with terraces.

Each room offers floor-to-ceiling windows, Rock spa with bathing products, Lavazza espresso and high-speed internet connectivity.

The hotel’s 36th floor has a glass-enclosed penthouse, called Rock Star Suite, with double height ceilings, an open-plan living, an outdoor bar, a dining area with a bar and butler pantry and direct access to the RT60 rooftop bar and lounge.

It also offers fine dining options at the upscale NYY Steak, in partnership with the New York Yankees, RT60 bar and lounge at the hotel’s 34th floor and Sessions Restaurant & Bar.

Hard Rock International (HRI) chairman Jim Allen said: “New York City is one of the greatest cities in the world and we are honoured to open our doors to locals and travellers looking for a best-in-class hotel, dining, and entertainment experience.

“Hard Rock has had a presence for decades in the city, but this location will deliver an entirely new experience from the brand that’s been synonymous with music and entertainment for over 50 years.”

The new hotel also features an integrated Audacy Live performance studio and entertainment hub, which is opened in collaboration with HRI and US-based broadcaster, Audacy.

The studio will hold a series of live events, recording sessions and intimate performances from several A-list artists.

HRI owns or manages hotels, casinos, rock shops, live performance venues and cafes at 253 locations across 68 countries across the globe.

Last year, HRI announced the opening of its first metropolitan property in Madrid, Spain.
