Hilton has strengthened its presence in French Polynesia with the opening of Hilton Hotel Tahiti in the capital city of Papeete.

Hilton Hotel Tahiti is located two miles from the international airport and offers convenient access to tourist attractions of Papeete and Maritime Port.

The 200-room hotel, which was formally known as Hotel Tahiti in 1960, underwent an extensive renovation programme covering interiors, concepts, and services.

Guest amenities include a free Wi-Fi, a pool, a boutique-style spa, fitness centre and a large ballroom and meeting space suitable for gatherings and events of all sizes.

Dining venues at the property include Moevai, which serves traditional Tahitian fare; Taitea Brasserie caters fish and steak in French style; and The Asian serving Southeast Asian cuisine.

The Heiva Lounge and the Vaipuna poolside bar make up the two bars in the hotel.
