Hilton has signed franchise agreements to open Hilton Garden Inn in Massy and Hampton by Hilton near Toulouse Airport in France in 2019.
The franchise agreements were signed with Naos Hôtel Groupe for Massy hotel and NT Hotel Gallery for Toulouse hotel.
Hilton Garden Inn and Hampton by Hilton brands were launched last year in France at MIPIM conference in Cannes. With the two new hotels, it aims to expand in the French mid-market segment.
Hiltonsenior vice president for development in EMEA Patrick Fitzgibbon said: “Both of these new projects support our drive to grow our portfolio in France by introducing new brands at key transport hubs. Last year Toulouse Airport received 1.1 million more passengers than in 2016, a record increase, while the Massy train station complex has direct links to Nantes, Lyon, Marseille, Grenoble, Toulouse and Strasburg. These important hubs will be strong demand drivers for these two quality developments.”
Hilton Garden Inn Massy will form a part of mixed-use development which will include residential, retail space, cinema and congress centre. This hotel is located adjacent to main train station.
Architect Christian de Portzamparc has designed the Hilton Garden Inn Massy plan with 152 guest-rooms.
