Global hospitality company Hilton is set to debut its luxury Signia brand in the Asia Pacific, with its first hotel in Jaipur, India.

The move highlights Hilton’s commitment to enhancing its luxury hotel offerings in India while complementing its existing brands such as Waldorf Astoria Hotels & Resorts and Conrad Hotels & Resorts.

Hilton Asia Pacific president Alan Watts said: “This signing marks the exciting debut of our Signia by Hilton brand in Asia Pacific, as we further deploy Hilton’s award-winning luxury portfolio to expand our premium offerings in key gateway destinations.”

The new Signia by Hilton hotel, a result of a partnership with Sandeep Bakshi and Family LLP, is projected to open its doors in 2028.

With 216 bedrooms, the Jaipur property will join Hilton’s existing establishments in Rajasthan, including DoubleTree by Hilton Jaipur Amer and Hilton Jaipur.

The development reinforces Hilton’s presence in the state, following the announcement of Waldorf Astoria Jaipur, a third Conrad Hotels & Resorts property in Jaipur, and the inaugural Hilton Hotels & Resorts property in Udaipur.

Situated 28km from Jaipur International Airport and near the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway, the hotel is accessible and a three-hour drive from Gurugram.

Sandeep Bakshi and Family chief operating officer Akansha Bakshi said: “Signia by Hilton will offer an elevated experience tailored to discerning travellers and event planners looking for world-class services.

“With this property, we are poised to meet the needs of business leaders, global travellers, and those seeking opulent celebrations and event experiences.”

The property is set to offer over 2,250m² of event space, featuring a grand ballroom spanning 9,700ft².

Accommodation options will range from standard rooms to executive suites and private pool villas.

Guests will have access to exclusive amenities such as the Club Signia lounge, various dining venues, a fitness centre, a spa, pools, and a kids’ club.

The Signia by Hilton brand participates in the Hilton Honors programme, which encompasses the company’s 24 distinct hotel brands.

Hilton’s South Asia portfolio now includes 64 hotels that are trading or in the pipeline.

Overall, Hilton operates over 8,400 properties with more than 1.25 million rooms across 140 countries and territories.

In related news, the company announced last month that its DoubleTree by Hilton brand is set to make its debut in Bhopal, Central India.
