The Skirvin general manager Chase Rollins said: “Since opening in 1911, The Skirvin has been the crown jewel of Oklahoma City. The extensive renovation reaffirms our commitment to serving as the city’s premier gathering place for both locals and visitors.”

Guest rooms have been redesigned and feature new furnishings, lighting, and bathroom fixtures. Renovated bathrooms offer stone finishes, glass showers, and new fittings.

Large windows provide views of downtown Oklahoma City, allowing in daylight and city lights.

“Every detail was chosen with intention. From the fabrics to the lighting, we wanted guests to immediately sense the care and craftsmanship that went into each room,” added Rollins.

The renovation has also expanded and modernised the hotel’s meeting and event areas.

The property now offers more than 20,000ft² of space for functions and gatherings.

The Venetian Room at the top of the hotel has also been restored. The ballrooms and smaller event spaces combine original architectural details with new finishes.

Dining options now include Perle Mesta, a restaurant operated by local chef Andrew Black, known for winning a James Beard Award.

The restaurant serves menus featuring seasonal and locally sourced ingredients, as well as dishes inspired by international cuisine.

The hotel also retains the Red Piano Lounge, continuing to offer live music in the evenings. A new ice cream parlour, Boomtown Creamery, has also been added to the property, said Hilton.

Other updated amenities include a fitness centre and an indoor pool.
