IHG Hotels & Resorts is expanding its footprint in Egypt with the debut of the Holiday Inn Express brand in New Administrative Capital, a strategic community in Cairo.

The company has reached a franchise agreement with Samco Holding for the hotel development.

Scheduled to open in 2030, the hotel will be managed by regional third-party operating partner Ishraq Hospitality.

The upcoming Holiday Inn Express will offer 125 guest rooms, featuring the brand’s Generation 5 design. This design is a combination of lifestyle-focused hospitality with the amenities required by business travellers.

The New Administrative Capital, a central business and innovation hub, is part of Egypt Vision 2030.

Nestled within mixed-use development The Five in Egypt’s New Administrative Capital, the hotel will benefit from proximity to government and commercial entities.
