US luxury boutique hotel and rooftop lounge The Horton in Boone, North Carolina, is set to broaden its hospitality services with an upcoming expansion.
The project involves the procurement of an adjacent property, which will result in the addition of eight new hotel rooms that are to be introduced in late 2025, along with various new amenities to augment the overall guest experience.

The Horton currently features 15 upscale guest rooms and a rooftop bar that offers panoramic views of the surrounding mountains.
The Horton and Appalachian State alumni owner SPA Properties said: “The expansion of The Horton is a reflection of our dedication to providing exceptional experiences for our guests.

The new rooms on the top floor of the acquired building will complement the hotel’s existing offerings of complimentary Wi-Fi, breakfast, and on-site parking.
In addition to the room expansion, The Horton is set to enhance its guest experience with the introduction of a gym and wellness facility.
It will also feature a conference room suitable for meetings and events. Folding doors will open to an atrium, allowing for an indoor-outdoor ambiance for various gatherings, including watch parties for sporting events.
