Hotel Melby, Tapestry Collection by Hilton, a new 11-storey, 180-room full-service hotel has opened in Melbourne, Florida, US.
The new hotel is the latest addition to Tapestry Collection by Hilton, a portfolio of more than 45 original hotels.
Located in the Downtown area, the full-service hotel includes 24-hour fitness centre with Peloton equipment and free weights.
It features 2,525ft2 of meeting space, New Horizons Ballroom that can accommodate up to 150 guests and The Landing Rooftop.
The new hotel is in close proximity to Downtown Melbourne, Orlando-Melbourne International Airport and Melbourne Beach. It offers walkable access to local downtown restaurants, night life and shopping.
Hotel Melby general manager Carlos Cerda said: “Hotel Melby’s entrance into the market will offer a one-of-a-kind, unique experience for our guests. Guests will enjoy excellently appointed, modern guest rooms with city and river views, while having the benefit of all the amenities expected of an upscale hotel.”

Last month, Create Developments secured planning approval for the construction of a new £48m Hampton by Hilton Hotel in Trafford, Greater Manchester, UK.
The new seven-storey hotel, to be built adjacent to Trafford Park’s 1,330 businesses and the Trafford Centre, will feature 147-bedrooms, fitness suite, a bar, restaurant and bookable, flexible meeting rooms for use by businesses and the public.
Create Construction will begin building works in the third quarter of this year with a build duration of 75 weeks.
