Hospitality Ventures Management Group (HVMG), a US-based, private hotel investment, ownership and management firm, has assumed the complete management of the 263-suite Sheraton Suites Plantation hotel in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
The property was recently acquired by hotel owner/ operator Everwood Hospitality Partners (EHP), in a $24.66m deal.
HVMG president and CEO Robert Cole said: “The Sheraton Suites Plantation marks our fourth hotel in the Sunshine State, with properties ranging from upscale, full-service hotels affiliated with well-respected and recognized brands to a non-branded, boutique, lifestyle property.
“HVMG provides the full range of operational and advisory services to virtually all full- and select-service hotels, regardless of brand affiliation or not. 2018 looks to be particularly active for us as owners seek to make the most of their hotel investments.”
Located at 311 North University Drive in the heart of Broward County, Florida, the new nine-story hotel features a heated, rooftop pool, business centre and full-service fitness centre.
Situated close to the Ft. Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport, the property also houses Cilantro’s, a three-meal/day restaurant that offers continental cuisine and the eighth-floor Sheraton Club lounge.
