This initiative is part of a significant redevelopment project at Meitetsu Nagoya Station, aimed at transforming the area into a new urban landmark.
Hyatt Japan and Micronesia vice-president Sam Sakamura said: “As Japan continues to captivate travellers from around the world, Hyatt is committed to expanding its brand presence in both urban and regional destinations, carefully selecting the perfect brand for each location.
“We are thrilled to introduce this highly distinctive lifestyle offering in a prime location within Nagoya’s landmark redevelopment. We look forward to introducing Andaz Nagoya to World of Hyatt members and other guests across the globe.”
The new property will be integrated within a multi-use urban complex, directly connected to the new railway station with a dedicated entrance and is expected to feature approximately 150 guest rooms and suites from the 25th to the 29th floors.
It will feature various amenities encompassing multiple dining options, a rooftop bar, lounges, meeting and event spaces, a fitness centre, an indoor pool, and a spa.
