The new hotel sits in Emberton House, a landmark building that opened in 1937 as a multi-storey car park.

Hyatt Regency London Olympia has now been reimagined through an architectural redesign co-led by Heatherwick Studio and SPPARC.

Hyatt Regency London Olympia general manager Georges Moura said: “Opening Hyatt Regency London Olympia is an incredibly proud moment – for our team and for everyone who has played a part in bringing this remarkable project back to life.”

The property offers 204 guest rooms and suites spread across 14 room categories, with layouts designed around dedicated “Work and Play” and “Groom and Prep” zones.

The hotel also features smart technology, including keyless entry and energy-efficient systems, alongside communal public spaces for guests.

The property opens with several food and beverage outlets, including the 1937 Lounge & Bar and The Market, which provides a grab-and-go service.

Next to the hotel, the Idalia restaurant operates an all-day dining format headed by chefs Samantha Williams and Lorena Tommasi.

Within the property, more than 900ft² of meeting and event facilities are available across three rooms, targeting small corporate gatherings such as board meetings and executive workshops.
