The Hyatt Hotels Corporation is aiming to boost its presence across India and Southwest Asia significantly.

The company plans to open eight new hotels in 2024, targeting both leisure and business travel destinations. The expansion aligns with the expected rebound in tourism within the region.

A multi-faceted growth strategy

The recent opening of Ronil Goa marks the debut of the JdV by Hyatt brand in India, making it the ninth Hyatt brand to have a presence in the country.

Hyatt also plans to leverage its established brands Hyatt Regency, Hyatt Place and Hyatt Centric with new locations.

New developments

Several hotel openings are planned across the region. In Kasauli, India, the Hyatt Regency Kasauli is set to become a popular resort destination with its 89 rooms, suites and dedicated event space.

Hyatt’s expansion extends beyond established borders. Bangladesh will welcome its first Hyatt hotel with the opening of Hyatt Place Dhaka Uttara, while Haridwar in India will see the arrival of its first international hotel, Hyatt Place Haridwar.

Kolkata will gain its first Hyatt Centric property with the opening of the Hyatt Centric Ballygunge Kolkata. This hotel promises a blend of contemporary elegance and a touch of adventure, and features 93 guestrooms and diverse dining options. 

Bengaluru will see the addition of a second Hyatt Centric hotel, the Hyatt Centric Hebbal Bengaluru, situated in a flourishing business hub.
