Indian Hotels Company (IHCL) has further expanded its Ginger hotel portfolio with the opening of Ginger Goa, Arpora.
The hotel in North Goa features 77 rooms, an all-day dining restaurant, a poolside café and bar.

Ginger Goa, Arpora also provides banqueting facilities and outdoor lawn areas for corporate meetings, conferences, social gatherings and celebrations.
The property is located near several of Goa’s tourist attractions, including Fort Aguada, Miramar and Sinquerim beaches, as well as Anjuna Hillpoint.
IHCL Select Service Business executive vice-president Deepika Rao said: “The opening of Ginger Goa, Arpora strengthens IHCL’s presence in the state.
“Reflecting Ginger’s lean luxe philosophy, the hotel offers contemporary design, vibrant social spaces and the comfort and convenience that today’s travellers seek.”
IHCL has been expanding its presence for some time. The hospitality group operates a portfolio of 660 hotels worldwide, with a further 274 in development across four continents, 15 countries and more than 300 locations.
Earlier this month, IHCL signed a deal to open a Ginger hotel in Nava Raipur, Chhattisgarh. The 111-room brownfield project will be developed in collaboration with ECHT Ventures.
It also launched two other Ginger-branded properties in Bihar and Uttar Pradesh this year.
Additionally, the company signed an agreement recently to develop a new Taj hotel in Rameswaram, Tamil Nadu.
Spanning 70 acres, the 300-key greenfield property will be developed in phases. The resort will also feature two speciality restaurants, a bar lounge, a pool bar, and extensive venues tailored for meetings and social gatherings.
