In a statement, IHG said that the building construction works are under way on Temiryulchilar Street, with the property scheduled to open in September 2027.
The site will provide “convenient access” to Tashkent International Airport, the city centre, transport infrastructure and major commercial districts.
Silk Road Inn CEO Shokhrukh Khasanov said: “We are pleased to partner with IHG to introduce Garner to Tashkent and Uzbekistan.
“The brand’s focus on quality, comfort and value is well suited to the needs of travellers visiting the city, and this signing marks an important step for the project, and we look forward to opening Garner Hotel Tashkent in 2027.”
The agreement adds to IHG’s presence in the capital, where it operates across several market tiers.
IHG Hotels & Resorts Europe development vice-president Willemijn Geels said: “The signing of Garner Hotel Tashkent is an important milestone for IHG and for the Garner brand.
“As the first Garner hotel in Central Asia, it brings a distinctive, high-quality and affordable stay proposition to a market where demand for internationally branded midscale accommodation continues to grow.
“We are delighted to partner with Silk Road Inn and look forward to working together to bring the hotel to life.”
Last month, IHG reached an agreement with Nooa Holdings to launch its Garner Hotels conversion brand in the Middle East.
