
IHG Hotels and Resorts, in collaboration with Recha Estate, has announced the signing of Hotel Indigo Bangkok Thonglor in Thailand.
Located right on the Thonglor BTS station, the new 250-room property includes a bar, two restaurants, a gym and a swimming pool, along with more than 500ft² meeting rooms and co-working spaces.
Guests can reach the Hotel Indigo Bangkok Thonglor within a 25km drive from Suvarnabhumi International Airport.
Planned to open in 2026, the hotel is part of IHG’s Luxury and Lifestyle estate growth in the country.
IHG Hotels and Resorts South East Asia and Korea Development senior director Saowarin Chanprakaisi said: “Luxury and Lifestyle brands have always been important for consumers in Thailand and we are excited to continue to grow our portfolio through a new partnership with Recha Estate Co Limited.
“The Hotel Indigo brand has been expanding rapidly and is now strongly established in the region and globally.”

By GlobalDataHotel Indigo has 143 open hotels and a pipeline of 127 hotels across the world, including Hotel Indigo Tokyo Shibuya and Hotel Indigo Florence.
There are four open properties across Southeast Asia and Korea and 11 more in the pipeline across destinations including Saigon, Kuala Lumpur, Hoi An and Bandung.
Chanprakaisi added: “There are bold plans to expand its global footprint to more than 200 open hotels in the next three years as we introduce it to more guests around the world.
“We have two fantastic Hotel Indigo properties in Thailand – in Bangkok and Phuket and four in a pipeline that will triple our size in the market, showing the growing appeal of the brand that perfectly captures the spirit of local neighbourhoods everywhere.”
