IHG Hotels & Resorts has announced the signing of two new hotels in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, in collaboration with Koushan Real Estate Development Company.
Featuring the Kimpton and EVEN Hotels brands, the dual-branded development is set to open in 2028 within the King Abdullah Sports City (KASC) masterplan, an area that will host the 2034 FIFA World Cup.
This move aligns with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030.
Koushan Real Estate Development Company CEO Marwan Al Qaydy said: “This development is a proud moment for us, as it allows us to elevate the hospitality offering within King Abdullah Sports City by introducing globally recognised brands that reflect the energy, spirit, and ambition of the area.”
The development’s strategic location is said to provide convenient access to the stadium, retail and leisure zones, as well as King Abdulaziz International Airport, positioning the hotels as destinations for sports fans, wellness-conscious travellers, and business guests.
IHG Hotels & Resorts India, Middle East & Africa managing director Haitham Mattar said: “We are thrilled to partner with Koushan Real Estate Development Company once again to bring Kimpton and EVEN Hotels to a location as iconic and strategically important as King Abdullah Sports City.

By GlobalData“This dual signing not only expands our luxury and lifestyle footprint in the Kingdom but also aligns with Saudi Arabia’s ambitions to create world-class destinations ahead of the 2034 FIFA World Cup.
“Our Kimpton brand leads the way with individually designed boutique hotels and restaurants that focus on self-expression, world-class design, and genuinely warm service. With EVEN Hotels, we’re reimagining wellness hospitality by seamlessly integrating it into travellers’ lifestyles.”
The 330-key Kimpton property aims to become a social hub, with an array of speciality restaurants, wellness facilities, and flexible event spaces.
In contrast, the 255-key EVEN Hotel will emphasise wellness travel with in-room fitness zones, nutritious dining options, and recreational spaces.
The introduction of the Kimpton brand to Jeddah signifies a key step in its expansion across the Middle East. The brand has a global footprint across the Americas, Europe, and Asia.
With their launch, the Kimpton and EVEN Hotels in Jeddah KASC will join IHG’s global portfolio, which includes more than 6,600 hotels and a development pipeline of more than 2,200 properties.
This announcement follows IHG’s recent partnership with real estate developer Ashaad for three additional hotels in Saudi Arabia. These agreements were revealed at the Future Hospitality Summit Riyadh 2025.
