IHG Hotels & Resorts has signed a partnership with real estate developer Ashaad for three hotels in Saudi Arabia.

The signings were announced at Future Hospitality Summit Riyadh 2025.

This development aligns with Saudi Vision 2030 and is expected to bolster IHG’s presence in the country.

The new properties, namely Hotel Indigo Jeddah Gate, InterContinental Al Khobar Al Hamra, and voco Al Khobar Al Andalus, are slated to open between 2028 and 2030.

Collectively, these three hotels will add more than 1,700 rooms to IHG’s portfolio in the country. The properties will operate under the company’s management agreements.

Ashaad chairman Ali bin Mohammed Al Ali said: “We are pleased to announce a strategic partnership with IHG Hotels & Resorts to introduce three distinguished hotel brands across the western and eastern regions of the kingdom.”

In Saudi Arabia, IHG now operates 45 hotels under six brands and has 49 hotels under development, which are expected to open in the next three to five years.

Recently, IHG signed a management agreement for a new Holiday Inn property in Jeddah. This 222-key hotel is scheduled to open in June 2026.
