IHG stated that Hotel Indigo Vienna – Naschmarkt has a tropical themed wallpaper rich plant-inspired artwork on the walls that reflects the story of the secret gardens and hidden treasures of the district.

Hotel Indigo Vienna – Naschmarkt general manager Stefanie Augustin said: “We are pleased to open our doors and accept our first guests into the first Hotel Indigo in Austria.

“We sit in the heart of the surrounding neighbourhood and strive to make all the locals proud, by helping to bring a bit of that external story in so guests can truly experience what Vienna has to offer.”

IHG has more than 6,000 open hotels in over 100 countries along with more than 1,800 hotels under development.

Recently, the company signed a franchise agreement with Geci Group to open InterContinental Tirana, a brand debut for InterContinental Hotels & Resorts in Albania.
