Acuant teams up with Intelity to streamline guest check-in

Acuant, a provider of identity verification solutions, has partnered with Intelity, an integrated mobile and in-room technology provider, to provide secure identity verification through the Intelity platform.

Initially, Acuant’s AssureID technology was integrated with the KEYPR legacy platform, but this partnership is now being extended to the Intelity cloud-based enterprise platform following the recent completion of the merger between KEYPR and Intelity.

Hotel partners of Intelity will be able to provide their guests a remote identity check as part of the mobile check-in process. This is expected to bolster guest experience.

Acuant president and CEO Yossi Zekri said: “By combining our AssureID technology with Intelity’s mobile key delivery, we will enhance the guest experience at hotels worldwide.

“This partnership is a perfect example of how we reduce consumer friction and fraud simultaneously.”

AssureID offers immediate ID authentication and verification through the Intelity mobile guest apps and mobile SDK.

During remote check-in, guests can submit their ID for verification. Following confirmation of their identity, guests can activate their digital key and upgrade rooms. This entire process simplifies the check-in process for front desk staff and boosts seamless guest-to-room flow.

Intelity CEO Robert Stevenson said: “Friction at the front desk and check-in delays remain an ongoing pain point for guests and hotel operators alike.

“With our extensive suite of mobile capabilities and Acuant’s ID verification platform, we are one step closer to a fully tracked, optimised and automated check-in process.”

Through the  use of Intelity platform, hotels can have access to a custom mobile app, digital key, in-room tablets and a back office management system.

The platform is customisable, thereby making it convenient for guests to seamlessly request hotel services.
