Yogi Bear’s Jellystone Park Camp-Resort at Pine Lakes has announced the completion of a multi-million dollar expansion.

This expansion project was carried out over two years and the US-based resort now features two new water slides, a water park with a splash pad and two new vacation rental homes, with one featuring a separate pool, and a new camp store with vacation supplies and souvenirs.

Furthermore, the property has 30 new glamping cabins that boast full kitchens and bathrooms, flat-panel TVs, furniture and four additional glamping tents.

The property, which is located in Pittsfield, Illinois, offers an environment with activities, attractions and interactions with the comic book character Yogi Bear.

The park’s centre remains Pine Lake, which includes a sandy beach, a floating obstacle course and an area for boating, paddleboarding and fishing.

Four Points RV Resorts CEO Sean Vidrine said: “With our recent expansion, Jellystone Park at Pine Lakes is a one-stop vacation destination. With so many attractions and activities, everyone gets to do what they like without ever leaving the property.”

Vidrine added that a Jellystone Park trip is economical, considering that renting a cabin, RV site or tent site provides multiple attractions and activities. Most cabins can accommodate up to six people, with some up to eight.
