JLL has announced that its Hotels and Hospitality group has arranged the sale of the Holiday Inn Express and Suites Pittsburgh-South Side in the US state of Pennsylvania.

The company arranged the buyer and represented the seller for the deal.

Located on 1.73 acres at 20 South 10th Street, Pittsburgh, the six-story hotel features 125 rooms and each room comprises a work desk, internet access, a refrigerator, a microwave, a TV and many more amenities.

It also boasts a fitness centre, an indoor pool, two banquet rooms, a lobby, as well as 600ft² of meeting space.

The Holiday Inn Express and Suites Pittsburgh-South Side is situated near Duquesne University, the University of Pittsburgh and Carnegie Mellon University.

Guests can also enjoy many attractions surrounding the hotel, including shopping on Carson Street, South Side Works and Station Square, as well as games at Acrisure Stadium, PPG Paints Arena and PNC Park.

JLL stated that its Hotels and Hospitality Group has completed many transactions across the world over the last five years totalling $83bn.

Recently, the company arranged a $145m loan to refinance four newly developed hotels in Florida.

The four hotels include Fairfield Inn and Suites by Marriott situated at 631 Flagler Ave; Residence Inn by Marriott at 2111 Flagler Ave; Home2 Suites by Hilton at 341 Flagler Ave and Homewood Suites by Hilton at 411 Flagler Ave.

These Hilton and Marriott-branded hotels were opened between January 2021 and January last year.

JLL represented Doradus Partners, the borrower, as well as its affiliated management company Yedla Hotels, in securing the loan through Aareal Capital.
