Kempinski Hotels is set to open the first international five-star luxury hotel in central Switzerland on 25 June 2021.
Named as Kempinski Palace Engelberg, the hotel is easily accessible by car, train or via Zurich airport.
The hotel has 129 rooms and suites that offer views of the beautiful alpine surroundings. All rooms and suites are equipped with luxurious amenities.
It also features a large entrance hall, the Cattani Restaurant with 120 seats indoors and 70 on the summer terrace, The Palace Bar, the Cigar Lounge and Wintergarden to enjoy afternoon tea.
Kempinski Palace Engelberg has nine conference rooms that cover an area of approximately 850m2 for meetings and events participants, as well as the historical Kursaal to accommodate up to 1,000 guests during events.
Additionally, the hotel has an 880m2 rooftop Kempinski The Spa and an infinity pool with huge lounging areas, and a relaxation room featuring an open Himalayan salt-stone fireplace.
