The Leela Palaces Hotels and Resorts has strengthened its resort portfolio with the signing of two new properties in the India state of Kerala.

The properties include The Leela Kovalam, a Raviz Hotel and The Leela Ashtamudi, a Raviz Hotel.

The Leela Kovalam, a Raviz Hotel boasts 184 rooms and suites, a 7,000ft² Grand Ballroom and sprawling outdoor venues, as well as a 16,000ft² beach venue.

Guest amenities include a gymnasium, swimming pool and a spa.

Dining venues include all-day dining, The Terrace catering Asian, European, Indian, and authentic Kerala specialties, The Tides serving seafood, an open-air live tapas kitchen, The Sky Bar offering signature cocktails and others.

The 93-room Leela Ashtamudi, a Raviz Hotel features four dining destinations including a multi-cuisine restaurant Keraleeyam, Portico Café, catering comfort food, the floating restaurant Ranthal and the aqua-themed bar, Zirkon.

Other guest amenities include spa, a gymnasium, and an outdoor pool.

The hotel is located 71km from Trivandrum International Airport and 15 minutes from the Kollam beach.
