Sifax Group subsidiary MacFolly Hospitality is set to introduce a new 100-room Courtyard by Marriott hotel in Lagos, Nigeria.
Situated in GRA Ikeja, the property will be adjacent to the existing Lagos Marriott Hotel, further cementing MacFolly Hospitality’s objective to the local hospitality sector.

Scheduled for completion within two years, the hotel aims to provide expanded meeting spaces, facilities, and amenities for local and international guests.
The ground-breaking ceremony was attended by Sifax Group chairman Taiwo Afolabi and his wife Folashade Afolabi, as well as Marriott International Sub-Saharan Africa regional vice president Johan Cronje.
During the event, Afolabi highlighted the increasing demand for premium hospitality experiences in Lagos as the driving force behind the new development.
He said: “About four years ago, we launched the Lagos Marriott Hotel, which is next door, and the experience has been very fascinating due to the world-class lodging, dining, and event experience that we offer our customers.
