Hong Kong-based Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group and The Oberoi Group in India have announced a strategic alliance as part of which they will collaborate across a range of initiatives.

The global alliance between the two hotel groups creates a platform for them to work more closely and has been designed to appeal to their loyal guests.

Mandarin and Oberoi will work together across all facets of the guest experience and curate new and exclusive experiences, available at both hotels.

Furthermore, through the alliance, they can increase their global reach and provide increased choice in breadth globally as well as depth in India, to guests.

Members of Fans of M.O. and Oberoi One programmes will have access to more than 50 luxury hotels in sought after destinations.

The alliance will tap into the expertise of both brands and will work to create culinary and wellness experiences.

Additionally, it will collaborate on innovation, sustainability and colleague learning and development.
