Marriott International is set to open a dual-branded property, Moxy Downtown Los Angeles & AC Hotel Downtown Los Angeles, in Downtown Los Angeles, US.
The 37-storey building will feature a total of 727 bedrooms, 13,000ft² of meetings and event area and 12 dining and entertainment places.
Moxy Downtown & AC Hotel Downtown Los Angeles is situated on the corner of South Figueroa and Pico streets, around the Crypto.com Arena and the Los Angeles Convention Center.
Los Angeles’ Houston Hospitality will open a multi-dimensional concept here at Level 8 later this year.
US-based real estate developer Lightstone will develop the first Moxy Hotels property in Los Angeles.
The Moxy Downtown Los Angeles will feature 380 rooms designed for flexibility and personalisation. The room will have adaptable furniture and storage spaces, industrial-chic bathrooms with a rain shower and an elongated sink engraved from lava stone.

“Guests can take advantage of extra amenities, such as the AC Lounge for co-working during the day while having more whimsical social options with Moxy in the evening.”
Architectural services company Gensler and US-based design studio Yabu Pushelberg have designed the Moxy and AC Hotel Downtown Los Angeles, respectively.
