Marriott International has announced a significant expansion in Poland, with plans to introduce more than ten new properties in the coming years.

This move, which includes the market debut of the Le Méridien and Element Hotels by Westin brands, is expected to add more than 1,200 rooms to Marriott’s global portfolio.

Currently, Marriott has a portfolio of 24 properties in Poland with more than 4,500 rooms across 12 brands in eight cities, including Warsaw and Krakow.

The company is set to bring Le Méridien’s European flair to Poland with the expected 2025 opening of Le Méridien Krakow Royal.

Marriott brands currently present in Poland include The Luxury Collection in the luxury segment; Marriott Hotels, Sheraton, Renaissance Hotels, Autograph Collection, Tribute Portfolio and Westin in the premium segment; Courtyard by Marriott, Four Points by Sheraton, Moxy Hotels and AC Hotels by Marriott, in the select service segment.

Additionally, Marriott plans to expand its Collection brands in Poland with upcoming Tribute Portfolio and Autograph Collection hotels in Warsaw and Wroclaw, respectively, and a second Renaissance hotel in Gdansk Old City.

This spring, Element by Westin is poised to make its Polish debut with Element by Westin Wroclaw.

Four Points by Sheraton is expanding with new openings in Poznan and Wroclaw slated for 2025 while the Moxy Hotels brand is set to launch its fifth Polish property in central Warsaw next year.

Furthermore, the luxury segment of Marriott’s portfolio in Poland is set to grow with the addition of the H15 Luxury Palace, a Luxury Collection Hotel, located in Krakow’s historic Lubomirski Palace. This marks the second Luxury Collection property in the country.
