Real estate company Megaworld has announced plans to open the Grand Westside Hotel in the Philippines before the end of this year.
The new 19-storey, two-tower hotel will be located within the 31-hectare Westside City township in Entertainment City, in the City of Parañaque.
It will be the company’s 19th hotel property and the second homegrown hotel brand inside Westside City.
The Grand Westside Hotel will feature 1,500 rooms in different types and sizes, ranging from queen suites twin suites and executive suites with up to 48m², as well as 35m² twin suites and 37m² queen suites, which will be specifically designed for specially abled people.
It will also include a lobby on the ground level, as well as an expansive pool area with a children’s pool, gazebo and outdoor seating area on the fifth floor.
The hotel will also have four event rooms, three of which can be combined to form a big hall that can host events of up to 300 people.

By GlobalDataGuests can enjoy food at four dining outlets, including an all-day dining restaurant, Grand Westside Café, as well as drinks at the Zabana Bar on the ground floor and a pool bar on the fifth floor.
Grand Westside Hotel will additionally feature an Executive Lounge, which is exclusive for VIP guests.
It also boasts massage rooms and a fitness gym, along with a two-level 1,995m² retail and commercial space.
The real estate company’s subsidiary Megaworld Hotels and Resorts will be responsible for the operations and management of the new hotel.
Megaworld Hotels and Resorts managing director Cleofe Albiso said: “Once it opens, Grand Westside Hotel will become the biggest hotel property in our portfolio and in the entire country to date.
“It will be just a short drive away from the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) via the NAIA Expressway and promises to delight guests with wonderful views of the world-famous Manila Bay sunset, as well as the skylines of Makati, Manila and Taguig City.”
The hotel’s first tower is expected to open this year and the second tower next year.
