Meliá Hotels International has announced the signing of Hotel Corte Rosada, Affiliated by Meliá, in Alghero, Sardinia, expanding its Mediterranean portfolio.
Scheduled to open in mid-2025, the four-star beachfront retreat is 15 minutes away from the Alghero – Riviera del Corallo Airport.
This strategic move is part of the company’s plan to enhance its leisure offerings in “unique” locations and grow its Italian presence to 15 properties by 2027.
Located within the protected Porto Conte Regional Natural Park, Hotel Corte Rosada will offer direct access to the beach and is surrounded by natural landscapes suitable for outdoor activities.
The property will feature 152 rooms, a wellness centre, and multiple dining venues, including a restaurant, bar, and breakfast area, while its location offers guests the opportunity to explore nature reserves, vineyards, and diving sites.
A city with Catalan roots, Alghero features a historic centre, ancient fortifications, and is close to attractions such as Capo Caccia, Neptune’s Grotto, Punta Giglio, and Monte Doglia.
