AI-driven travel planning platform Mindtrip has introduced Mindtrip Stays, a new service aimed at helping users identify suitable places to stay.

Via a conversational interface, the tool allows travellers to describe their requirements, including location, amenities, budget and loyalty preferences. The platform then searches available options based on those requirements.

Mindtrip said the system combines “conversational discovery, live travel inventory and agentic reasoning”.

It evaluates trade-offs across different properties and highlights those that best fit a traveller’s needs.

Travellers can complete bookings either directly through Mindtrip or via their preferred supplier. They can then continue planning flights, activities and itineraries within the same platform.

Mindtrip co-founder and CEO Andy Moss said: “Finding the right place to stay has become one of the most fragmented and frustrating parts of travel planning.

“Travellers don’t think in filters; they think in goals, preferences, and tradeoffs. They’re balancing location, amenities, reviews, room types, dates, and budget all at once, and most tools force them to evaluate those factors separately.

“Mindtrip Stays reasons across all of them simultaneously. It understands what you’re actually looking for, works through the tradeoffs, and explains why a property fits your needs, or doesn’t.”

According to the company, Mindtrip Stays features conversational hotel discovery, price-drop alerts and best-fit, best-value optimisation.

It also offers real time inventory and their rates aggregated from various booking websites, along with room-level research.

In future, Mindtrip plans to add loyalty-aware recommendations that incorporate traveller status, memberships and credit card benefits when assessing value.
