Minor Hotels has announced plans to launch Anantara Santorini Abu Dhabi Retreat, an ultra-private luxury resort, in the UAE.
The property, expected to open in the fourth quarter of this year, is situated in the Ghantoot region, which is halfway between Dubai and Abu Dhabi.
The property features a range of ultra-private accommodations with terraces and views of the sea, housed within low-lying white buildings.
The hotel provides the option of buy-outs for exclusive use.

Dining options at the property include a restaurant that will serve dishes inspired by the heritage of the location, an oceanside restaurant serving Greek cuisine and a bar featuring a DJ.
It will also boast a private beach, an outdoor pool overlooking the Arabian Gulf, spa treatments and 24/7 butler service.
Guests can also enjoy private screenings at the resort’s indoor cinema, which provides access to late-night movies and custom gourmet cuisine.
The resort is situated a 25-minute drive from Dubai’s Al Maktoum International Airport and a 35-minute drive from Abu Dhabi International Airport.
Currently, Minor Hotels has eight hotels and resorts under the Anantara brand in the UAE, with a total of 11 in the region and a total of 26 properties across five brands.
Additionally, the company has upcoming openings in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Bahrain, along with future properties planned for Qatar and the UAE.
