Located on the west coast of Mahé Island and a 30-minute drive from Seychelles International Airport, the property is nestled among tropical gardens with direct access to beaches.
The resort will feature 192 fully refurbished accommodations, which include the new lagoon access guest rooms.
In addition, the reopening will offer guests a diverse dining experience that boasts island culture and coastal flavours.
Guests can also enjoy the AvaniSpa, three flexible event spaces for destination weddings, incentive travel, and executive retreats.
Minor International group CEO Dillip Rajakarier said: “We are pleased to announce the upcoming relaunch of Avani+ Seychelles Barbarons Resort, which will reposition the property as a standout lifestyle destination.
