In addition, the hotel offers facilities such as an outdoor pool, free Wi-Fi, a fitness centre and 1,350ft² meeting and event venues.

Guests can dine at Foxhole Bar and Restaurant, which serves an exclusive variety of southern cuisine matched with local craft beer, distinctive cocktails and wines.

The property is conveniently located near downtown Charlotte and Charlotte Douglas International Airport.

MMI manages and owns various properties, such as The King and Prince Beach and Golf Resort on St. Simons Island; The James Madison Inn boutique hotel in Madison, Georgia and Mission Inn Resort and Club in Howey-in-the-Hills, Florida.

MMI acquisitions and strategic partnership managing director Andrew Pace said: “These hotels are developed to be different than the prototypical flags which the hotel industry has built up over 40 years – they need to be operated differently too. Our guests expect an alternative and individualised experience which we deliver at our lifestyle-centric hotels.

“The franchisors have begun to recognise this trend with the rollout of many new soft brands and lifestyle brands. Choice recognised this trend many years ago and has carved out an upscale and unique experience with Cambria Suites.”

MMI CEO Micajah Sturdivant said that the group has plans to double its portfolio of hotels within the next two years.
