Mondrian Hotels and Residences, a part of hospitality company Ennismore, has opened a new 302-room hotel in Duxton Hill, Singapore.

Mondrian has collaborated with Los Angeles-based Studio Carter for the design of the hotel, named Mondrian Singapore Duxton, which features an interior design that balances contemporary and traditional elements.

The hotel, a stone’s throw from the Central Business District,  features a “deconstructed shophouse chic” concept for creating captivating and unique interior design throughout the hotel.

Under the concept, conventional ‘shophouses’ in the Duxton Hill area of Singapore have been reimagined to create a unique interior design.

The new Mondrian hotel features a cinematic rooftop pool and a collection of bars and restaurants.

Bottega di Carna provides a modern Italian gastronomical experience and is overseen by the globally acclaimed master butcher, Dario Cecchini.
