Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide has expanded its brand portfolio in the US with the opening of a new Four Points property in Phoenix, Arizona operated by Jaffer Hospitality.

Four Points by Sheraton Phoenix South is situated in close proximity to the Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport (PHX) as well as sports and entertainment venues including Chase Field and US Airways Arena. It also offers access to local attractions including Phoenix International Raceway and the Phoenix Zoo.

The hotel has 160 guest rooms and suites, 9,000ft² of meeting space, full service dining and a bar. Other amenities at the property include access to golf, shopping and the offices of several leading businesses such as US Airways Group and Avnet.

Starwood speciality select brands senior vice president Brian McGuinness said that Four Points is committed to providing guests with everything they need to stay one step ahead while on the road.

"We are delighted to extend Four Points’ reach to the dynamic city of Phoenix where we offer travellers a fresh, new option within close proximity of the airport and top attractions," McGuinness added.

The Four Points brand currently includes around 200 properties across over 30 countries. Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide operates 1,200 properties in 100 countries in total.
