US- based real estate development consultancy Acumen Development Partners has started the construction of North Point Hospitality's (NPH) $137m tri-branded Marriott hotel in downtown Nashville.
The new project will include a 209 room AC Hotel, 125 room SpringHill Suites, and Residence Inn with 136 rooms by Marriott which will be located on the corner of 5th Avenue and Korean Veterans Boulevard in downtown Nashville, adjacent to Music City Center.
The new tri-branded hotel is slated to open in 2018.
Acumen was hired as the development manager of the project and is supporting the project team to obtain agreements and permissions and aiding in the finalisation of designs.
Acumen managing principal Gary Womack said: "Our firm was brought in by North Point Hospitality to assist ownership with the project budget and design.

The AC hotel is a modern European lifestyle brand which has set foot in major US cities in 2014.
Residence Inn will offer extended stay suites featuring comfortable living rooms and furnished with kitchen.
SpringHill Suites features sleek suite style rooms catering to both families and business travelers.
The hotel facility will have a shared common area equipped with amenities such a fitness centre, a 4,000ft2 of meeting space, an outdoor infinity edge pool, rooftop bar, and patio.
A four-floor parking space, multiple retails outlets are among other facilities that will be part of the tri-branded Marriott hotel.
The new hotel will be part of the Sobro neighborhood which is anticipated to evolve as a tourist attraction with its entertainment venues and new development.
