Israeli company ASRR Capital and Buddha Bar founder Gerard Guez have collaborated to launch a new independent property, NOMO SOHO, which was acquired in March.

NOMO SOHO chief executive Graham Leslie said: "The acquisition of NOMO SOHO marks an exciting time for ASRR Capital.

"With our guests progressive personalities and styles in the forefront of our minds, we’re eager to revamp the experience into a curated environment for all who walk through our doors."

The 263-room hotel, which was earlier known as the Mondrian SoHo, is located at 9 Crosby Street in Downtown Manhattan and will be part of Preferred Hotel & Resorts’ Lifestyle collection.

The property is expected for full re-launch later in 2015 and will offer new amenities programming and partnerships targeted at guests and visitors of all backgrounds.
