
Carlson Rezidor has expanded its portfolio in Russia with the announcement of Radisson Blu Olympiysky Hotel, Moscow.
The new 379-room hotel will be the brand’s eighth hotel in Moscow, where the company currently operates and develops more than 2,000 rooms.
Owned by B&N Group, Radisson Blu Olympiysky Hotel is expected to open in 2017.
Rezidor executive vice-president and chief development officer Elie Younes said: "We remain committed to this emerging market and will expand our network across the region together with our partners."
Located just north of the city centre in Moscow, the new hotel is part of a 75,000m² multifunctional development.
The hotel features free high-speed internet access, a restaurant, a bar and a panorama floor.

Carlson Rezidor currently operates 59 hotels, with 15,200 rooms in Russia/CIS and the Baltics. It also has 18 hotels with 3,250 rooms under development.
Last month, Carlson Rezidor signed a multiple-property deal with Saphir Group, introducing the Radisson RED brand in Indonesia.
With this development, the group will open four new Radisson and Radisson Red brands, including Radisson RED Jakarta CBD, Radisson RED Bali Legian Camakila, Radisson Bali Legian Camakila and Radisson Bali Tanjung Benoa.
