Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group has signed an agreement with CUTC Chongqing Easpring Hot Spring Development to open a new Radisson Blu Resort in Chongqing, China.
The new property, Radisson Blu Resort Chongqing BeiBei, is Carlson Rezidor’s fourth hotel in the south-western city of Chongqing.
The 280-room property will be part of a 222,000m² mixed development called Yishang Mountain Hot Spring Town, which includes a hot spring and spa, high-end residences, commercial space and leisure facilities.
The new property will feature three restaurants, a lobby lounge and bar, a fitness centre, spa, an indoor swimming pool and a variety of meeting spaces, in addition to signature offerings.
Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group Asia Pacific president Thorsten Kirschke said: "We believe that Radisson Blu Resort Chongqing BeiBei, strategically located in the famed north hot spring site, can positively contribute to its tourism growth.
