Choice Hotels International has announced plans to expand its Cambria hotels and suites in Philadelphia, US.
The company has signed an agreement with franchise partner Pearl Properties, a Philadelphia-based, full-service investment real estate company.
Choice Hotels International upscale brands senior vice-president Michael Murphy said: "This is a milestone for the Cambria brand as we continue to fuel our expansion in the upscale segment and focus on a culture of exceptional service.
"To us, it’s not only about building great properties but also building a brand promise that we can deliver to all guests that makes every guest feel like a VIP."
The company is expected to open a new 206-room Cambria property in 2017, and will be operated by Concord Hospitality Enterprises Company.
The Center City Philadelphia property will feature amenities, including a barista bar, and a bistro restaurant serving local specialties, liquor, wine, beer, salads and sandwiches. It will also boast a first-class restaurant on the ground floor.
Cambria hotels feature a large lobby, oversized rooms with flexible spaces, and internet for guest use.
